Clarification of the announcement that Lipoxen has received approval to conduct the second Phase I trial of its long-acting erythropoietin (EPO), ErepoXen®, in Canada, released at 07.00 a.m. on 16 June 2008 under RNS number 7369W
London, UK, 19 June 2008 – Lipoxen PLC (AIM:LPX), a bio-pharmaceutical company specialising in the development of high value differentiated biologicals, vaccines and oncology drugs wishes to clarify that, although Institutional Review Board (IRB) ethical approval has been granted for the Phase I erythropoietin (EPO) trial in Canada, further regulatory approval is needed before the trial can proceed to dosing.
A further announcement will be made when full trial approval is granted.
